After arriving at Johannesburg OR Tambo International Airport, you will catch your flight to Maun, Botswana. You will then embark on your chartered flight to Jack's Camp, in the middle of the Kalahari Desert.

Jack’s Camp is an oasis of style and comfort. Spectacular vistas, expert guiding, habituated, incredibly friendly meerkats, Bushmen guided walks, unique desert wildlife, the historical Chapman's Baobab, old-world safari styling and superb cuisine all come together to create an experience that is completely different to any other. In addition to the regular activities at Jack's Camp, the wet season ushers in the spectacular sight of the annual zebra and wildebeest migration, and the dry season allows guests the opportunity to explore the vast Makgadikgadi saltpans.

You will start day 4 with a chartered flight from the Kalahari to The Okavango Delta. A spectacular flight as you fly into and over the delta to your next camp: Shinde Camp.

Nestled on a lush palm island in the heart of the northern Okavango Delta, Shinde is an intimate camp located on the edge of Shinde Lagoon. As one of the first pioneering camps the newly refurbished Shinde provides classically styled luxury, maintaining the historical charm of those first great African safaris. It has a multi-tiered dining room and lounge, set under canvas amongst the shade of ebony and mangosteen trees. Accommodation is in spacious en-suite tented accommodation looking out across the seasonal floodplains.

As Shinde is a private concession there are amazing traversing opportunities to explore the wilderness either in 4X4 vehicle, on foot or mekoro (seasonal) where sightings include lion, leopard, elephant, tessebe, red lechwe to name just a few species. Sitting around the camp-fire is a nightly ritual and together with the knowledgeable guides, discussing daily events as your Shinde experience unfolds.

Just when you thought it couldn't get better, you will fly on to Selinda Camp.

Selinda Camp overlooks the Selinda Spillway, a unique seasonal waterway which links the Okavango Delta with the game-rich floodplains of the Linyanti Swamps. Designed to ensure that there is no barrier to any sighting, Selinda offers exceptional photographic opportunities. With just three one-bedroom tented units under canvas ceilings and cooling thatch roofs, Selinda Camp will give you the feeling of being one with nature. Each tent has a shaded open-sided inside and outside lounge overlooking the private plunge pool and the Selinda Spillway beyond.

There are a variety of activities available at Selinda Camp such as day and night drives, walking, boating and catch-and-release fishing (subject to water levels) in the private, 130,000- hectare, Selinda Reserve of northern Botswana. Selinda Camp will have a complementary set of Canon professional camera equipment and binoculars in each suite for guests to enjoy whilst in the reserve.

Sadly, the arrival of day 10, brings you to the end of your Botswana adventure, as we slowly take you out of Africa, and return you to your home.
