Welcome to Tanzania! Arrive at Kilimajaro International Airport, where you will be transferred to Legendary Lodge in Arusha. This is an opportunity to recover from your long-haul flight and prepare yourself for the adventure that awaits you.

A very private experience on the outskirts of Arusha, Legendary Lodge is situated on its own genuine coffee plantation with views of Mount Meru spanning behind. The gracious garden cottages have their own private verandas which are beautifully decorated with a colonial-style luxury encompassing a bedroom and lounge area warmed by a fireplace to take the chill off the cooler African nights. Wake up calls are accompanied by a cup of freshly brewed coffee or tea.

Make your way back to Arusha Airport, where you will catch your chartered flight to Manyara. Located in the remote southwestern region, Lake Manyara Tree Lodge is the only lodge in the small, yet diverse Lake Manyara National Park, allowing one to leisurely track the park’s famous tree-climbing lions and for unimpeded viewing of the flocks of pelicans, flamingos and buffalo cooling the soda lakes.

Designed to exert minimal impact on the environment, And Beyond Lake Manyara Tree Lodge offers an exclusive interpretive safari in a remote, game-rich wilderness. Cradled in the boughs of an ancient mahogany forest, the lodge blends into the natural beauty of its breath-taking surroundings.

Overlooking a forest boma, or outdoor dining area lined with traditional dugout canoes, guest areas are characterised by soaring spaces that house local artworks and tactile fabrics. An interactive kitchen allows guests to observe the preparation of delicious dishes that are enjoyed in the theatrical boma or on the open dining decks, with spectacular forest views.

It's back to the airstrip to catch your chartered flight straight to the Serengeti. Legendary Serengeti Camp is a mobile tented camp that moves its location throughout the year depending on where the great annual migration is expected to be. In July of each year the camp is relocated to the northern reaches of the Serengeti National Park in the vicinity of the Mara River, where it typically remains until mid-November.

Legendary Serengeti Camp has 2 identical mobile camps, each with 8 en-suite tents and a family tent. Each of the camps are pitched as a split camp whereby one side of the camp will have 6 tents and the other side will have 2 tents and the family tent. Each half of the camp operates independently and faces in a different direction, occupying its own lounge and dining facility and using the natural habitat to ensure maximum privacy.

The camp in the south moves between the southern migrations in Maswa, to the northern migration in Lamai. While in the west, the camp moves between the western corridor in Nyasirori, to the northern migration in Wogakuria.

To ease your extraction from the Serengeti, it's now time to fly you to Zanzibar. Prepare to be dazzled with culture and beaches. It's time to relax and reflect on everything you have seen, while soaking up some island life.
