Namibia Safari 2019

June 30

Arrival in Hosea Kutako Airport and get transported to lodging at The Olive Exclusive All-Suite Hotel in the evening.

July 1

Drive from Windhoek to the NamibRand Nature Reserve for first day of safari, enjoy the Fairy Circles and campfire under the stars.

July 2

Embark on our Tok Tokkie Walking hike, with a scenic drive and ending the night under the open starry sky.

July 3

After a light breakfast, enjoy the oldest living desert in the world and learn about the wildlife and endemic species of the dunes.

July 4

Set off through the rolling dunes with a light walk and depart for Sossusvlei after lunch. The Sossusvlei Lodge will accommodate us this evening, with opportunity for add-on activities.

July 5

Enjoy Sossusvlei’s high red dunes and surrounding landscapes. Be sure to bring your camera to capture this natural beauty!

July 6

Depart for the coastal city of Walvis Bay, with lodging at the Lagoon Park Campground. Weather permitting, you can choose to glide over Skeleton Coast in a scenic flight.

July 7

Relish in a half-day excursion along the Kuiseb River Delta to Sandwich Harbour, dotted with massive sand dunes. A light lunch will prelude our off-road adventure. Our last night at Lagoon Park Camp will allow us to take boat trips, do a scenic flight, or look at marine life.

July 8

Prepare for a drive and overnight stay in the Erindi Private Reserve, in Big 5 Country. This massive reserve is a wildlife haven and is perfect for game viewing and photography.

July 9

Drive to the Etosha National Park, with a comfortable lodge waiting for us.

July 10

Game viewing for the Big 5 in Etosha, meaning “Great White Place”. Expect to see buck species, giraffes, elephants, rhino, and lions. Overnight lodging in Halali Lodge.

July 11

Game viewing in the waterholes and edge of the Etosha pan, and ending the day’s adventure in Etosha Safari Lodge.

July 12

An early start back to Windhoek, with a lunch at Namibia’s most famous restaurants. Departing flights will set out from Windhoek Airport after 4 p.m.
